Amalgamated Joiners have been in business in Upper Hutt since the 1940’s, with Paul Pepper having worked there for 25 years before purchasing it in 1997. Paul and Liz Pepper continued to build a reputation of quality and craftsmanship over their 25 year ownership. Fast forward to 2022 and Paul Winstanley (director of The English Craftsman) purchased Amalgamated Joiners from Paul and Liz Pepper. Paul and his team start another exciting chapter in this great Hutt business and will continue to build on the strong reputation.
Amalgamated Joiners ethos is unique and is appreciated by discerning customers. Our customers want quality products, made by craftsmen who take pride in their work. Over time, the Amalgamated team have carved out a niche with their handmade joinery.
We can use existing drawings or work with you to design the product in-house. We have the experience to discuss and recommend the types of timber that would best suit your project. We can visit your site as well, to take inspiration, or measure up areas.
Through the entire process, we will keep you informed with updates. You are welcome to come by and check on progress. Your joinery will be made in our workshop. It can be prepared to your preference, including fully finishing, painting, and hardware installation.
Once completed, we can give you specific advice on how to maintain your interior or exterior joinery to ensure its longevity.
