Amalgamated Joiners doesn’t do mass-produced. If you want something out of the ordinary, we are the craftsmen to make it. We design and create specialised and statement furniture to enhance an outdoor space. Often, our customers have a specific style to suit their house, or have seen an outstanding piece in a magazine or photo. Every piece or set of outdoor furniture we produce is unique, and can be purpose-built to become a feature of your deck or garden. Outdoor wooden playhouses, gates and decorative fencing can also be made to order.

Exterior furniture and gates have to be made from timbers such as totara, rimu, sustainable kwila, jarrah, and pine. Using these, your garden furniture will be both unique and durable. Our service includes advice on how to care for handmade outdoor furniture so it will last under the harsh New Zealand weather conditions for generations.
